Use your freaking blinkers, people can’t read your (bleep) mind!

Have you ever been driving behind someone who suddenly decides to make a sharp turn without any warning? If so, you’re not alone. Many drivers seem to have forgotten the basic courtesy of using their blinkers to signal their intentions. This can be very frustrating and dangerous for other road users who have to guess what the person in front of them is going to do next.

In this blog post, I’m going to explore some possible reasons why some people don’t use their blinkers and why they should start doing it ASAP. I’ll also share some tips on how to deal with these blinker-less drivers without losing your cool.

One reason why some people don’t use their blinkers is that they are lazy or distracted. They may think that it’s too much effort to flick a switch or that they have more important things to do, like checking their phone or eating a burger. They may also assume that everyone else can see where they are going and that they don’t need to communicate their plans. This is a very selfish and irresponsible attitude that puts everyone at risk.

Another reason why some people don’t use their blinkers is that they are ignorant or arrogant. They may not know how to use them properly or they may think that they are above the law and the rules of the road. They may also believe that they are smarter or faster than other drivers and that they don’t need to give them any notice. This is a very rude and reckless behavior that shows a lack of respect and consideration for others.

Whatever the reason, there is no excuse for not using your blinkers. It’s a simple and effective way to let other drivers know what you are going to do and to avoid accidents and conflicts. It’s also a legal requirement in most places and you can get fined or ticketed for failing to do so. So, please, use your blinkers every time you make a turn or change lanes. It’s not only polite, but also smart and safe.

If you encounter someone who doesn’t use their blinkers, don’t let them ruin your day or your mood. Here are some things you can do to cope with them:

  • Keep a safe distance from them and be prepared for any sudden moves.
  • Don’t honk or flash your lights at them, as this may only make them angry or defensive.
  • Don’t try to teach them a lesson or get revenge, as this may only escalate the situation and cause more trouble.
  • Just let them go and focus on your own driving and safety.

Remember, you can’t control other people’s actions, but you can control your own reactions. Don’t let the blinker-less drivers get under your skin or get you into trouble. Just use your own blinkers and be a good example for others.
