We all know that learning to drive can be a stressful and challenging experience. But sometimes, it can also be a source of laughter and amusement. Here are 10 hilarious driving fails by teenagers that will make you glad you’re not in their shoes.
1. The one who forgot to put the car in park. This teenager was so excited to pass his driving test that he jumped out of the car to celebrate, without putting it in park. The car rolled down the hill and crashed into a tree, while the instructor chased after it.
2. The one who drove into a lake. This teenager was trying to impress his date by taking her to a scenic spot near a lake. He parked the car on the edge of the water and turned off the engine, but forgot to apply the handbrake. The car slowly slid into the lake, leaving them both soaked and stranded.
3. The one who hit a deer. This teenager was driving on a rural road at night, when he saw a deer crossing the road. He panicked and slammed on the brakes, but it was too late. He hit the deer head-on, causing extensive damage to his car and the animal. He later found out that the deer was actually a stuffed toy that someone had placed on the road as a prank.
4. The one who got stuck in a car wash. This teenager was taking his dad’s car for a spin, when he decided to give it a wash. He drove into a car wash, but didn’t realize that he had to put the car in neutral and let the conveyor belt move it. He kept driving forward, causing the car wash to malfunction and spray water and soap everywhere. He had to wait for an hour until someone came to rescue him.
5. The one who ran out of gas. This teenager was driving with his friends, when he noticed that the gas tank was almost empty. He decided to ignore it and keep driving, hoping to find a gas station soon. He didn’t, and the car ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere. He had to call his mom to come and pick them up.
6. The one who got pulled over by a cop. This teenager was speeding on the highway, when he saw a cop car behind him with flashing lights. He thought he could outrun the cop, so he stepped on the gas and tried to lose him. He didn’t, and the cop pulled him over and asked for his license and registration. He realized that he had left them at home, along with his wallet.
7. The one who crashed into a mailbox. This teenager was backing out of his driveway, when he accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake. He crashed into his neighbor’s mailbox, knocking it over and denting his bumper. He tried to fix it by putting it back up and taping it together, but his neighbor noticed and was not amused.
8. The one who locked himself out of the car. This teenager was running late for school, so he rushed out of his house and got into his car. He threw his backpack on the passenger seat and closed the door, only to realize that he had left his keys inside. He tried to open the door, but it was locked. He had no spare key or phone, so he had to wait for someone to help him.
9. The one who drove on the wrong side of the road. This teenager had just moved from England to America, and was not used to driving on the right side of the road. He got confused and drove on the left side of the road, causing other drivers to honk and swerve around him. He realized his mistake when he saw a sign that said “Wrong Way”.
10. The one who fell asleep at the wheel. This teenager had stayed up all night studying for an exam, and was feeling very sleepy. He decided to drive to school anyway, thinking that he could stay awake with some music and coffee. He couldn’t, and he fell asleep at the wheel, drifting off the road and into a ditch.
